We offer a variety of methods for registering (that is, purchasing) our games. One factor to consider when deciding which one is right for you is the payment methods each one supports.
Credit cards: We accept VISA, MasterCard/EuroCard and NOVUS/Discover credit card payment for all registration methods. This is the easiest and fastest way to pay for your game. Although some people are understandably nervous about using their credit cards on-line, there is no need to be concerned providing you follow some common-sense guidelines. For more information, see our About Internet shopping page.
If you want to use a credit card, but not one of those listed above, you should register through the SWREG service, which supports a much wider range. Each of the shareware registration pages on our site (such as this one for Santa's Secret Valley) includes a link to the relevant SWREG order form. You should be aware that the prices of our games on SWREG are slightly higher than on our own site (although delivery or your registration code is faster), and that you can not use SWREG to order the Family Games CD, or to take advantage of discount and special offer pricing.
Checks (or, if you like, cheques): Unless you live in Canada, your check must be in U.S. dollars and drawn on a U.S. or Canadian bank. Each of our products has a separate price for payments in U.S. currency. See our price list for details. Make your check out to "AHA! Software Inc.", and send it to us - not forgetting to mention which game(s) you want, and all your contact information - at this address:
AHA! Software Inc.
1915 Casa Marcia Cr.
Victoria BC V8N 2X4
CANADA
SWREG (see above under credit cards) can also accept checks in British pounds. You must register through the order form on their site to take advantage of this, and they will apply a small processing fee in addition to the usual registration price.
International money orders: These work exactly like checks, from our point of view, and the discussion above applies equally.
Cash: Although we discourage you from sending cash through the mail (since you have no recourse if the letter vanishes in the postal system), we will certainly accept payment in this form if we receive it. Again, if you are paying in U.S. dollars, you must pay the U.S. prices given on our price list. Currencies other than U.S. and Canadian dollars are not accepted. Use the mailing address given above under Checks.
Paypal: This Internet-based method of payment is again available for Family Games customers as a premium service through SWREG. Use the order form on the SWREG site as described above if you wish to register your game using Paypal.
